Message	my '94 non california has a temp sensor in the EGR housing. This would not give accurate results. The EGT needs to be in the exhaust stream before the turbos. You want the EGT to measure exhaust temp as soon as possible after it leaves the exhause ports. the exhaust will drop temperature rapidly as it passes through the system. Chuck S.
